Crown Equipment Corporation has 2 openings for an Embedded Software Engineer 3 in New Bremen, OH to: Conceptualize ideas for software control of sensors, actuators, systems, user interface& wireless communications; Conduct system analysis to define scope, objectives & design solutions; Develop product technical profile; Act as technical lead to oversee & work w/ engineers to design, code, implement, integrate, test, debug, review software application solutions & document; Review hardware schematics & support the hardware design w/low-level software components Develop detailed design documentation, APl, de-brick procedures & sequence setups; Perform critical design analysis; Develop & conduct bench-level unit testing, on-vehicle/ target verification & validation tests; Create development & production test software throughout the product development cycle; Establish project plans & schedules. Required: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Eng Computer Science or related (foreign equiv. accepted) 4 yrs exp. as Software Engineer or related. 4 yrs exp. in: C programming, Real-time Operating Systems (RTOS) & Linux OS. Extensive knowledge of Gyro Accelerometer sensor integrations on internal custom developed PCB's including 4 yrs of exp. working w/ accelerometer devices in production envir; Development exp. w/ 12C, SPI, UART, SDIO, USB interfaces.
